Groomed Barber Club

Stefan Louca, Zeus Films’ cameraman (and my son!), was commissioned to produce a short promotional video for the newly established Groomed Barber Club. Stefan, having studied and gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Digital Film Making at SAE Oxford, has become an integral part to the business and over the last few years has brought a great new and fresh feel to Zeus Films. This promotional video for The Groomed Barber Club was welcomed with much praise when uploaded to social media sites and reached an audience of thousands within a few hours, showcasing the new salon with the huge impact it deserves. The video was also filmed in 4K resolution so looks amazing when viewed on a full 4K screen.

Wedding at Crewe Hall

Elliot & Kyriaki were married shortly after the New Year in The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of Theotokos & Saint Andreas. After the Greek Orthodox Ceremony the couple had a Civil Ceremony in the magnificent Crewe Hall, a 400-year-old Jacobean mansion set on 8 acres of parkland. The Cathedral and reception were beautifully decorated by the prestigious Red Floral Architecture who styled the space with sumptuous flowers and candles. During the wedding reception a Jazz Band and a Greek Band entertained the guests right until the early hours.

Greek Wedding at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole

Having filmed the bride’s parents wedding almost 25 years ago, it was now a great honour to be filming the bride Estelle’s wedding to Lefterry. The wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions from the morning ‘stolisma’ with the Greek traditional dressing of the bride and groom, right through to the big celebrations at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Their Greek Orthodox Marriage Ceremony took place at the magnificent Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St Mary & St Andrews.

Indian Engagement Party

Having filmed several events for the Singh family, it was a great honour to be invited back to film Avreet & Karan’s 3 day engagement party. The engagement party took place at the family home and was a whirlwind of celebrations attended by guests from all over the world. One of the highlights of the event was a performance by the global dancing sensation Karan Pangali of KSpark entertainments, who’s performance enthralled the guests.

Wedding at Burgh Island Hotel

Jakki & Sheila’s wedding took place at the stunning and iconic Burgh Island Hotel. It was an absolute honour to be part of such a special weekend for Jakki & Sheila. Having filmed their Civil Partnership 9 years to the day, Jakki & Sheila decided to convert their civil partnership into a marriage. After realising that there were restrictions to the process, Jakki & Sheila started a petition and along with 42,000 signatures successfully changed the law for civil partnership conversion to marriage, so that civil partners wanting to convert can have a wedding & a marriage certificate…..and did they celebrate!! Over a weekend of festivities including a Murder Mystery Dinner, a medley of musicians and performers and a fireworks display that would rival the London New Year celebrations, Jakki & Sheila celebrated with their family and friends as wife and wife!

Osmaston Park Wedding

Jonathan & Eniko’s wedding reception took place at the stunning setting of Osmaston Park, Derbyshire. The marriage ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Ian Whitehead with his truly unique style, in the glorious Church of St Mary, Tutbury. During the marriage ceremony the Friday Voices, a Staffordshire based choir, provided some exceptional and moving performances which even had a few of the congregation in tears. It was great working alongside  the talented Jon of Jon Thorne Photography again as we managed to capture some great footage of the bride and groom amonst the backdrop of Osmaston Park. Eniko, of Hungarian descent, managed to incorporate a few Hungarian traditions throughout the day and one tradition of the drinking of the palinka went down really well!

Hengrave Hall Wedding

Sam & Sarah were married at the enchanting Hengrave Hall, a spectacular Tudor Manor House set within acres of beautiful gardens in the Suffolk County. The marriage ceremony took place a short stroll from the main house in the glorious setting of the church of St John Lateran. Sarah, the bride, worked continuous for several months prior to the wedding creating many of the decorations that adorned the house and rooms which added a truly unique touch to the day.

Aaron & Maria’s Greek Wedding Reception

Aaron & Maria were married in the beautiful Greek Orthodox Church of St Spyridon, Great Yarmouth. The reception was held at The Ocean Rooms, Gorleston-on-Sea. Starting off with the traditional ‘dressing’ of the bride, celebrated with the attendance of close family and friends, the day is steeped with tradition and symbolism. Part of the ‘dressing’ had Maria writing all her bridesmaids names on the sole of her shoe, one tradition I haven’t seen for a long while. After the Greek Orthodox Marriage Ceremony the bride and groom were welcomed by a huge crowd and celebrated the night away with feasting, drinking and loads of dancing! It’s always great seeing previous clients of mine at weddings and especially so in the small but high-spirited Greek Community at Great Yarmouth.
